Day 30 No Striving Challenge – 3rd Way to Connect with Your Soul

No Striving BadgeIn order to truly connect with your soul, you need to become a SOUL RECEIVER.

So often the reason we are not able to hear or see our guidance is because we have not allowed ourselves to receive it.

Receiving happens on many levels. Not only do you need to learn to receive the messages of your inner guidance, but it needs to start with being willing to receive within your relationships as well. Because everything is energetic, when you are a non-receiver, you unknowingly shut down the channels where guidance can flow to you. ….but don’t worry they can easily be re-opened!

Are you a Non-Receiver? Here are some symptoms of a Non-Receiver…

  1. Emotionally you feel unappreciated
  2. Physically you feel exhausted
  3. Mentally you feel resentful
  4. Spiritually you feel disconnected

In these cases, we tend to put the blame outside of ourselves, but the real question is – are you open to receiving?

How often have you silently pleaded for help, but when offered you find yourself saying, “Oh don’t worry. I’m fine.” OR how often do you inwardly hope someone will read your mind and come to your rescue?

Yep, these are signs of not being open to receiving. When we aren’t open to receiving, we then feel we need to strive for it.

The bad news – If you have not cultivated reciprocity in your relationships, you will attract Non-Givers.

“The only possible match for someone who doesn’t know how to receive is someone who doesn’t know how to give.” ~Amanda Owen

The good news – You can learn to become a receiver. And when you become a receiver within the physical realm it also opens you up to receiving from the spiritual realm.

Simple ways to become a receiver:

  • Allowing a friend to pick up the check for lunch…without fighting over it
  • Graciously accepting a compliment
  • Accepting an apology without the need to justify your side
