Day 24 No Striving Challenge – The Truth of Your Soul

In order to move forward from where you are, and to move beyond the striving, you need to shed the old beliefs, the old stories that were keeping you there, and start to embrace new ones.   When committed to moving away from striving, it’s important to tap into the truth of who you are, as well as Universal Truths (aka Soul Truths). These new beliefs will support you in moving into and embracing more of who you are. When we truly know the power of who we are, the need for striving falls away.   These serve as reminders to help ease the chatter of the ego mind, and to keep us in the flow of life.   Here is a list of Truth Affirmations I use… I don’t need to figure out the “how.” What I focus on expands. We are all Infinite Beings. The answers I seek are within me. We are all interconnected. My thoughts and actions impact the whole. I am the source of my abundance. My higher self is always conspiring for my highest...

Day 2 No Striving Challenge – The True Path to Effortless Ease

Today we’re still going to be looking at the definition of striving, but with the focus on the misguided thinking in the phrase STRENUOUS EFFORTS – To make STRENUOUS EFFORTS toward any goal.   Strenuous effort and trying hard comes from the position of needing to “make things happen” from an external standpoint. Although allowing what you desire into your life may require some action, when we let go of the striving mentality and slow down enough to listen to the guidance we are always receiving, the action we may be called to take is Inspired Action.   Inspired action emerges from an inner prompting and urges us to act from a place of joy and excitement (like how I feel about this project!). There’s no obligation or responsibility attached to the action.   Inspired action has a whole different feel and it can take some time to adjust to this new way of being…but I’m here to tell you it’s possible…and very much worth it!   Soul Team Chat  Keeping in mind awareness is the key, and often that’s all...

Trisha’s Two-Cent Tuesdays: Time to Simplify

Over the course of the last week or so, I have had some truly amazing awarenesses and learnings take place, which I will be sharing with you in more detail in an upcoming blog series I’ve titled “Unexpected Gifts From A Getaway.”   Those learnings are the reason I am writing this particular blog, because the importance has become glaringly obvious to me that as things evolve and shift for me, I need to be flexible and change as change is needed.   I am at one of those points where a bit of change is needed.  I absolutely love writing, BUT what I don’t love is the added pressure I have put on myself regarding my writing.   As a “recovering” over-achiever I figured that if putting out one blog a week is good, well then putting out two blogs a week is ever BETTER!    That truly did work well for awhile…and I enjoyed doing it, BUT as my business is evolving I am finding that the creation of all my writing material...

Tea Time With Trish: It’s All About Me!

Once again, I was at Starbuck’s writing this morning.  This time I was re-writing my “About Me” page for my website, because I realized that my story has evolved since I wrote my last one and it was time to update.  Once I started writing, the typing didn’t seem to end, and I basically ended up writing a short story of my life.  Who knew I had so much to say?! I do realize that I may (or not…we’ll see…who made the rules?) have to pare it down a bit for website purposes, however I thought I would still share it with you all through my blog. I’ll give you fair warning, it is a bit lengthy, so grab a tea and settle in for the read.  My Chai Tea Latte was ice cold before I finished writing this one! Once you’re done reading I would absolutely love to hear you’re feedback, and any stories you have to share, so please email me at trisha@absoluteawareness.ca. Here it is: Ok, so...
